SPARKS Program
Students & Partners Advancing Research Knowledge & Scholarship
Through a partnership between the UC Graduate College and 1819 Innovation Hub's Office of Commercialization, SPARKS connects industry, nonprofit and government organizations with University of Cincinnati PhD students and faculty to advance research collaboration.
The program supports paid, semester-long graduate research assistantships that bring UC's research expertise and emerging talent together with external organizations to address real-world challenges, advance research and development, and build opportunities for longer-term partnerships.
Organizations with a specific research need can explore partnership opportunities through SPARKS, even without an existing connection to a UC faculty member.
