Every successful commercialization journey begins with an invention disclosure. By engaging with the Office of Commercialization team early, we can evaluate your innovation before public disclosure and identify opportunities to maximize its commercial potential.

After receiving your disclosure, our team works closely with you to assess patentability, evaluate market opportunities and develop a commercialization plan tailored to your innovation. Depending on the technology and its applications, your discovery may be licensed to an established company, launched as a startup, or advanced through strategic research partnerships and industry collaborations.

Early engagement helps position your research for success, providing you with access to the resources needed to move your innovation from the lab to the marketplace.
